I'm a self thought blockchain developer, with 6+ years of experience building decentralized applications on enterprise blockchains such as Ethereum, Hyperldger fabric & R3 Corda I use programming languages like Solidity & Vyper to write ethereum based smart contracts and self enforcing business logic. I also use Golang & Node.js to 1. Build protocol layer blockchains. 2. Write chaincode (smart-contract) logic on hyperledger fabric Other technologies I utilize include Azure Blockchain Service, Docker, Kubernetes & Kaleido. If you plan on starting a Blockchain StartUp, you would need strong hands to help you build your vision from the ground up. My hourly rate is $60/hr
Vitalik Buterin last comment on scaling.. And its hurts! It's how bitcoin was meant to scale..
It seems Ethereum is soon to be a better fit for Satoshi's vision of cryptocurrency. (Thanks to the dipshits..) Buterin wrote:
"The long-term goal for Ethereum 2.0 and 3.0 is for the protocol to quite literally be able to maintain a blockchain capable of processing Visa-scale transaction levels, or even several orders of magnitude higher, using a network consisting of nothing but a sufficiently large set of users running nodes on consumer laptops."
The existing Visa credit card network processes about 15 million Internet purchases per day worldwide. Bitcoin can already scale much larger than that with existing hardware for a fraction of the cost. It never really hits a scale ceiling.
I can solve your Coding/ programming assignments at a very nominal price. Proficient in Java, javas script and blockchain (Ethereum and R3 Corda). Hit me up
I stumbled upon this: https://www.indeed.com/m/viewjob?jk=b36f4dbb6b6140d5&from=serp "BlockChain Engineer Visa - Foster City, CA" "We're seeking a strong developer experienced with Ethereum and blockchain architecture to be a part of team tasked with building distributed application. Our ideal candidate has built and released distributed applications, has worked with the Ripple, R3, Ethereum and/or Bitcoin blockchain, and has experience with Solidity, Qualifications" I went looking deeper on their website and saw something pretty cool. https://usa.visa.com/visa-everywhere/innovation/visa-b2b-connect.html "Today, we are excited to announce our work with innovators from Commerce Bank in the United States, Shinhan Bank in South Korea, Union Bank of Philippines and United Overseas Bank in Singapore. We are beginning to process bank to-bank test transactions with a few of these partners, with others to follow soon, as we gear up for the commercial launch of Visa B2B Connect." -> Shinhan bank from south korea is linked to ripple (as of jan 5) : https://www.xrpchat.com/topic/15852-korean-shinhanand-woori-bank-confirmed-ripple-transactional-network/ They succesfully finshed testing and will soon use Ripple for their actual international transactions Hmmm.. Interesting stuff to think about. Didn't want to post it on the normal Reddit subpage in case they would delete speculation like this.

If you want to know what is ethereum, how it works, and what it can be used for, without going deep into the technical abyss, this guide is perfect for you. Ethereum is a global, decentralized platform for money and new kinds of applications. On Ethereum, you can write code that controls the money, and build applications accessible anywhere in the world. That is what has led R3 to develop Corda rather than using Ethereum or something similar. However, as pointed out by some folks, even R3’s people are confused, as their marketing twitter description dates back two years to when they started (pre-Corda) and talks about blockchain rather than, as they have updated it to in the past few days ... R3’s vision is of a world where everyone can transact directly and privately with trust. Business partners operate in perfect synchrony, and trustless interactions are a thing of the past. Next-gen. R3’s Corda is an enterprise blockchain platform that delivers privacy, security, interoperability and scalability. Corda underpins top-of-stack ... Causing excitement and speculation within the Ripple community, R3 has begun testing Corda Settler’s payment engine with Ripple’s XRP. Ethereum. Ethereum. Like other blockchains, Ethereum has a native cryptocurrency called Ether (ETH). ETH is digital money. If you’ve heard of Bitcoin, ETH has many of the same features. Blockchain consortium R3 CEV has announced its first distributed ledger experiment using Ethereum and Microsoft Azure's Blockchain as a Service, and involving 11 of its member banks.
